Phil is a wonderful dog trainer! He is knowledgeable, honest, fair, and patient. Some trainers can train dogs, some can train people, Phil is one of the few that can do both! I came to Phil for help getting my dog and I ready to compete in UKC Obedience. With Phil’s help we have earned our UKC United Companion Dog, UKC United Rally Obedience 1, WCRL Rally Level 1 and Award of Excellence titles, and we are on our way to our CWAGS Zoom 1, CWAGS Starter, UKC Open Obedience, and UKC Rally Obedience 2 titles. Not only did we manage to compete and qualify, but we were able to get nearly perfect scores thanks to Phil!!! I am proud and lucky to be a student of Phil’s, and I hope to continue training with and learning from him for a long time! Thank you Phil!!!!!

Phil is a fantastic trainer—thoughtful, patient, fair, smart and fun. I have worked with him with two of my dogs, and I love his approach. When I have a concern about something, he assesses it and shows me how to fix it. With training, he explains things well and paces it so that I have the building blocks to teach my dog the right way. He makes it fun, for both me and my puppy. She loves going to class and absolutely adores Phil. And he is extremely generous with his time, going out of his way to answer all of my many questions. He truly has found his calling—not only is Phil an excellent trainer but he loves what he does and you can see that when you work with him. He has fun and the dogs have fun and learn.
